Chili’s Grill & Bar Reopens at Jacksonville International Airport

Following renovations and additions, the Chili's Grill & Bar inside Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) has reopened for business. On Wednesday, the reopened Chili's celebrated with a live mariachi band and ribbon-cutting.

"It's the ideal spot to grab a bite before your flight, with expanded seating, a new look, and a fast Bottoms Up Draft Beer System," JAX wrote in a post on X.

According to the Jacksonville Daily Record, JAA Properties Manager Jeff Taylor testified before the authority board in 2023 that Chili's had been the airport's highest-grossing concession prior to its closure because of the security checkpoint project. The Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant can be found in the proximity of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and it is more than happy to welcome its guests back to its premises after a significant enlargement of the space available as well as refurbishment of the place.

There was indeed the formal reopening on Wednesday which was graced by a ribbon-cutting ceremony accompanied by a Mariachi band to give the occasion a good touch of colors. The new look of the Chili’s has enabled the establishment to increase the area of the bar significantly, by 50 percent, to accommodate more visitors, as well as add chairs along the chair rails to dining area. Among the most frequently noticed is the fast Bottoms Up Draft Beer System; therefore, passengers can take a beer before the flight.

Riverside Avondale Preservation Hosts Music Tour in Jacksonville

Chili’s has been a popular brand for the JAX travelers, before it became the record holder of the biggest grossing concession site in the airport. In October, Jacksonville will host a musical celebration honoring the rich musical histories of Riverside and Avondale. The Music Tour is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 12. up until six p.m. in a number of places. Willowbranch Park will be the site of the main stage. According to a release, the autumn event will showcase performances on eight distinct stages, each telling a different tale of musical moments and individuals who have inspired our town, including memorabilia.

"We've always wanted a music festival in Riverside or Avondale, so when we heard RAP was getting things started, we sprang at the chance! The team at Cowford Realty stated. "Cowford wants to be involved in anything that uses music, love, and joy to unite the community."

The occasion consists of:

  1. Small-scale performances with local bands along the tour
  2. Pop-up displays and souvenirs
  3. Main event featuring The Curt Towne Band
  4. Discreet dance with discreet headphones

The Riverside Avondale Preservation stated on their website that the Music Tour would present our community's musical heritage in a variety of unique settings throughout Riverside, such as residences, yards, parks, and commercial buildings. The Music Tour will give a program and pedestrian itinerary to modest stages and sites across the district, in contrast to a normal music festival with centralized stages. There are just 1,000 seats available. The first ticket fee is $20 for each person.
